Dr Gautam Rishi

Executive General Manager (EGM) – Life Sciences (LS)

Dr. Rishi is an experienced professional in molecular and cell biology with a strong background in biotechnology applications. With several years of hands-on expertise in cell biology, he is deeply passionate about utilising Anteotech’s proprietary surface modification solutions to develop impactful products and services that push the boundaries of technology.

As the Executive General Manager of LS at AnteoTech, Dr Rishi plays a key role in leading the LS team to grow sales of AnteoTech’s multiple AnteoBind™ and AnteoBind NXT™ based products. These products have successfully traditionally been sold in the lateral flow and Luminex immunoassay diagnostics market. They have more recently been proven to deliver performance improvements, reagent and raw material cost benefits and workflow savings to diagnostic test users in the chemiluminescence (CLIA) market. Work on ELISA plate product is underway by the LS team.

Dr Rishi’s leadership is instrumental in driving collaborations with strategic partners to bring next-generation solutions into the invitro immunoassay diagnostics market.

Dr. Rishi holds a PhD from the University of Queensland (UQ) and has extensive postdoctoral experience, having worked at renowned institutions such as QIMR Berghofer and Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Additionally, he has gained international experience at the National Institute for Medical Research, Mill Hill, UK, (Francis Crick Institute), following the completion of his Master’s in Medical Genetics.
