Dr Gautam Rishi

General Manager, Life Sciences

Dr. Rishi is an experienced professional in molecular and cell biology with a strong background in biotechnology applications. With several years of hands-on expertise in cell biology, he is deeply passionate about utilising Anteotech’s proprietary surface modification solutions to develop impactful products and services that push the boundaries of technology.
As the General Manager of Life Sciences, Dr Rishi plays a key role in steering commercialisation strategies, focusing on translating scientific developments into real-world applications. His leadership is instrumental in driving collaborations with technology partners to bring next-generation solutions to market, particularly within the fields of diagnostics, agriculture, and veterinary sciences.
Dr. Rishi holds a PhD from the University of Queensland (UQ) and has extensive postdoctoral experience, having worked at renowned institutions such as QIMR Berghofer and Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Additionally, he has gained international experience at the National Institute for Medical Research, Mill Hill, UK, (Francis Crick Institute), following the completion of his Master’s in Medical Genetics.
